Henry

Henry

We adopted Henry in August 2020 and we were his third home. He was six years old when he came to live in his forever home with us. Henry was always a gentle boy and had patience with our three grandchildren who loved to make a fuss of him. We were told that Henry didn’t really like cuddles, but he always liked to be near us and often tapped us to make sure we weren’t far away. Henry loved his daily routines of walks to the park and treats at the club. Everyone knew Henry for his unique high-pitched bark and that is the reason we ended up rescuing him as when we rang Beagle Welfare we could hear him barking in the background. He enjoyed travelling with us in our motorhome through Europe many times and dog friendly pubs in the UK. Unfortunately during our last weekend away in Norwich he became unwell and needed emergency treatment, after which we had one more month with Henry enjoying his favourite things and places he loved to go. Sadly we had to say goodbye to him at home surrounded by his favourite humans, myself husband and daughter on July 4th 2025.

He will always be loved and missed dearly.
