Digby

We collected Digby from Jo’s house in June 2012. He was 2ish years old and had had such a difficult start in life. He completely ignored us while diligently digging holes in Jo’s garden but we had fallen in love.

On the drive home, he kept trying to find a way out of the car and we were a bit worried that it wouldn’t work out, but he soon settled in. He was the smartest dog and if there was a way into or out of a room, he would find it, so we now have Digby-proof door handles everywhere. It took him a long time to trust us fully, especially my husband, but with endless love and understanding, he became the glorious personality he really was.

Digby had a bark that made the little hairs on the back of your neck rise up and he definitely liked the sound of his own voice!
