Beagle was a rescue although not from BW. I only found out about Beagle Welfare from the Beagle community who are all fabulous.
Beagle (previously called Doulton) was very much loved and well looked after and now very much missed. He lived with us for twelve years and was very much loved. Beagle had spine issues (requiring major surgery) and a semi paralysed back leg but it didn’t stop him enjoying walks and beagle meets, although he was much slower than the other beagles.
Beagle was diagnosed with lung cancer during lockdown and got extremely ill. He wouldn’t have coped with surgery and chemo so we had to make the awful decision to let him go to the Rainbow Bridge. We found a vet with a garden so we could be with him right to the very end, he hated being apart from us. He is missed so much as we loved the little old boy so much.
Beagle corner feels so empty but he will never be forgotten
