Many thanks to Maria Burns for organising this fab event up in Scotland

Here’s what’s Maria had to say…….
Inverness Beagle Walks (230 members), held a fundraiser to try to raise money for Beagle Welfare on Saturday 28th April 2018.

Due to the great Scottish weather, we had taken the precaution of erecting a couple of gazebos. However, it stayed fair, the sun shone and we had a good turnout of members and their beagles! We had a nice mix of stalls – homemade crafts, tea, coffee and juice for the kids, home baking, nearly new stall, raffle and the auction during which the beagles and their owners were able to socialise together. We even erected an agility section for the Beagles to try.

We also got the members to sell dog breed raffle cards before the event. With £10 going to Beagle Welfare and £10 going to the winner its a great easy way of raising money.

We are proud to say that we managed to raise £1273.45 for Beagle Welfare. We also decided to support our local animal rescue centre, Munlochy Animal Aid, with the sale of new and nearly new dog items and raised £133.70 for them too. 👍🏻🤗
