Jo’s Big Jogle

Now 2020 has arrived let’s all get behind our very own BW Trustee Jo Morrison Rowe. Jo works really hard for BW and it would be amazing as a big thank you if everyone could support her. This is what Jo has to say about her fundraising venture.

“One woman with her part-time kerb crawler and a teepee, take on the John O’Groats to Land’s End challenge. On foot!!

Anyone who knows me knows that I am all about beagles, The Beagle Welfare Scheme and giving something back. They also know that I am built more like a flat-chested Miranda Hart than Jessica Ennis but 2019 will be all about getting fit so that on 17th, May 2020 I am going to walk approximately 1000 miles in aid of Beagle Welfare. Many cycle the route, few walk it. But I cant cycle for toffee so will risk it on foot instead. I am allowing myself six weeks including rest days.

My kerb crawler will give me a bed in the tent until I reach North England then release me onto English soil, a world of Airbnb and gestures of goodwill. I will be doing the walk alone but people are welcome to join me along the way.
