Zach is an 8 year old, tri-coloured male. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Zach has been very unhappy since his owner died and he will need a quiet, experienced, patient home where he’ll have time to settle in. He suffers from separation anxiety and he can be possessive of stolen items, so he’s not suitable to live with children. Zach gets along well with other dogs and he enjoys his walks. In the right home, he’ll make a good companion.
This is what his foster mum, Val has to say about him –
‘Zack has been with us as a foster dog from earlier this year. Due to losing his owner of 8 years he gets very anxious and noisy when left. He loves food like all Beagles and will jump up onto the counter to see what he can steal. Zack knows when it is dinner time and will let you know. Zack loves a cuddle and is very affectionate. He loves sleeping covered up and cosy. He is a very busy dog trotting in and out of the house loves his walk and his toys.
Zack has a mind of his own and if he does not want to do something he talks to you and moans and moans and makes a lot of noise we just tell him to be quiet and he usually does.
His ideal owner would be someone who takes him walks and is with him a lot of the time. He will make a very special companion for the right person.
He gets on very well with other dogs and could be rehomed with or without another dog.’
