Winston is an eight year old tri colour male, who needs a new home as his owners’ working commitments have changed, and he is spending too much time by himself. Winston is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Winston loves to go for walks, and will pull on the lead a little at the start of his walk, but soon settles down. He is a good traveller, and can be let off lead on walks. He enjoys meeting other dogs, as long as he’s not competing for food with them, although he finds large breed dogs a bit intimidating.
At home, Winston is house trained and crate trained. He can be left alone for a few hours in his crate, but suffers from separation anxiety. His owner managed this by not making a big fuss when she left and returned home. He is not destructive, and does not mind giving up stolen items. He has never tried to escape from his secure garden.
Winston has never lived with cats, so his new home must be cat free. He has lived with children, so a family with older children could be considered for him. He is a big fan of playing fetch with squeaky toys, and all sorts of food. He would love a home where he has someone to keep him company all day, and offer him cuddles on the sofa after a quick play session. This affectionate boy doesn’t ask for a lot of exercise, and enjoys his naps, so if you have space on your sofa for him, he will be a very happy member of the household.
