Winks is a two and a half year old tri colour male, who is looking for a new home with adults only. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Winks loves to go out on walks with his dog walker, and can pull on the lead. He enjoys meeting other dogs, and there are no problems with any other dogs in his dog walking group. He can be let off lead on walks, and travels nicely in the car.
At home, Winks is house trained and crate trained, and can be left alone for a few hours. He is not destructive and has never tried to escape from his secure garden. If he steals an item, he will surrender it for a treat. Like many beagles, Winks is very food orientated, and has on one occasion snatched from a child in the house, which is why we would not rehome him with children.
Winks has never lived with a cat, and due to his food obsession, it would be better if he was the only pet in the house. He has bundles of energy, and would play all day if he could. His ideal home would be an active adult only family who could give him lots of walks and socialisation, and bring him home for cuddles and fuss at the end of a busy day.
