🐶 Wilson – Handsome, Food-Motivated Beagle Looking for the Right Home

Wilson is a lovely tricolour beagle born on 8 July 2017. He is castrated, vaccinated, house-trained, and crate-trained, making him an easy dog to settle into a new routine.

Wilson has lived with other dogs and is generally social, however he does not get along with one particular male dog in his current home (his son, who was uncastrated). Aside from this relationship, Wilson has been great with other dogs he lives with, and it’s believed he could live with another compatible dog in the right environment.

He isn’t used to being left completely alone, as he has always lived with other dogs, so he would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time or where he has canine company.

On walks, Wilson can bark at other dogs, but this appears to be reactivity rather than aggression. He is very food-driven, which makes him highly trainable and responsive.

Wilson knows several basic commands including sit, lie down, paw, and “here”, and enjoys working for treats. He has previously lived with two cats and managed well with them.

He has not lived with children, so a calm, adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy children would likely suit him best.

Overall, Wilson is described as a really nice boy who just needs the right match and environment to thrive. With understanding, routine, and positive reinforcement, he would make a wonderful companion.
