Snoopy is a tri colour male, born 1st December 2012, who is looking for a new home due to a change in his owner’s circumstances. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Snoopy walks nicely to heel on the lead when he’s on the pavement, but when he’s somewhere more exciting, he can pull on the lead so that he can get closer to the smells which are getting his attention. His recall isn’t great, but he has been allowed off lead in places where his owner had full sight of him. He loves to meet other dogs, and wags his tail happily when he sees someone who might want to play with him. He is used to travelling.
At home, Snoopy is house trained and crate trained, and can be left alone for a few hours. He isn’t destructive, and knows how to behave, although he has been partial to a bit of bin diving in the past. After some wild adventures sneaking out of the windows as a puppy, Snoopy has grown out of his desire to escape his secure garden, and is happy to stay indoors if you go out. Snoopy can occasionally be possessive of food or stolen items, and while he has never bitten, his new home must be one without cats or young children.
Snoopy is loyal and loving, and likes nothing more than a fuss and a cuddle. He also values his own space, and is just as happy occupying himself by people watching from the window. He knows lots of tricks, and will do anything for a Bonio biscuit. Snoopy does have some easily managed health conditions, and Beagle Welfare will be able to help with the cost of any medication which is required. He is a young at heart hound, with a big character.
