About Oakley

Oakley is a friendly, affectionate older gentleman who enjoys company and has lived happily as part of a family. He is calm in the home, well settled in his routine, and has a gentle, sociable nature. He enjoys meeting other dogs and is polite, if a little enthusiastic, when saying hello.

  • Crate trained
  • Can be left alone for 4–5 hours
  • Used to travelling (travels in the boot of the car)

  • Scared of helium balloons
  • Likes a sniffy walk and gentle companionship
  • Chews must only be given at flea-treatment time

Reason for Rehoming

Oakley is being rehomed due to a change in family circumstances, meaning his owners are no longer able to financially support his medical needs. This decision has been made with his welfare as the priority.

Ideal Home

Oakley would suit:

  • A loving home looking for a calmer, older beagle
  • Owners happy to manage skin and dental care
  • A home with children or visiting grandchildren
  • A secure garden and regular on-lead walks
  • A home with another friendly dog or as a cherished only dog
