Milo is a tricolour male, born on 6th November 2020. He is looking for a new home as his owner is emigrating. Milo is neutered and microchipped.
Milo goes for walks on the lead, although he can pull on the lead at times. He can be let off lead on walks, and will come back to you if you have a nice treat for him. Milo is happy to travel in the car. Milo can be a bit aggressive if he has a high value treat like a bone in his possession, especially if he thinks you’re going to try to take it from him. He loves to play with other dogs, and currently lives with a small breed dog.
At home, Milo is house trained and crate trained. He can be left alone for a few hours if you need to go out without him, as long as he has been out to the toilet before you leave. He has never tried to escape from his secure garden. Milo is still in the stage of his life where he likes to chew everything around him, so a beagle proof environment is essential for him. If Milo steals an item, he will trade it for a treat.
Milo currently shares his home with a cat, so a tolerant cat could be part of his new home. He has lived with an older child, so older children with dog owning experience could be part of his new home. Because he can be aggressive with high value treats and toys, we would not recommend rehoming Milo where there are young children present. He loves to get out and about, playing football with his family, and paddling in rivers. He is very sociable, with both humans and other dogs, so would like to be part of a family where he will be able to meet up with lots of other dogs and their families. The only thing he’s not so keen on is the hoover.
