Maggie is a six year old tan and white female, who is looking for a home where she will have a lot of company to help her overcome her separation anxiety. She is vaccinated and microchipped.
Maggie loves to go out, and wears a harness when she’s on walks. She can be let off lead as long as you have treats to tempt her back with. Maggie really enjoys travelling in the car. She sits on the back seat and sleeps until you get to your destination. She is friendly to all people and dogs she meets.
At home, Maggie is house trained but has never used a crate. She finds crates very distressing. Maggie was previously used for breeding, and because of this, she is not used to being left on her own. If left alone, she barks and paces to show her distress. Her new owner must be prepared to help her with her separation anxiety. Maggie is not destructive, and has never tried to escape from her secure garden.
While she has never lived with cats or children, she has interacted well with children she meets on walks, so she could live with a cat-free family who have dog-experienced children, or a family with adults only. She could potentially be a companion for another dog. Maggie is a calm and affectionate girl, who would thrive with the right family.
