Age: Approximately 10 years old
Sex: Female
About Lumi
Lumi was found as a stray. She is thought to be approximately 10 years old and had not lived in a house before.
Lumi has clearly been used for breeding and has many scars on her. She came to us with a significant wound on her neck, which, although will always be visible as a scar, is now almost fully healed.
Lumi went straight into a foster home, where she has been while she received the care and support that she needed for her recovery.
Lumi has settled well into an existing pack in her foster home however, she is truly happy when she is with her humans. For these reasons, we would consider both a home where she will be the only dog as well as a home with existing resident dogs.
We are looking for a quiet, adult only home for Lumi.

Ideal Home
Lumi will need a calm home that is willing to be patient with her while she adjusts to her new life and learns how to live in a home. She is more confident every day and understands that she is safe and loved but she will need someone around most of the time to ensure that she doesn’t become anxious or worried. Lumi will need regular walks but doesn’t need to walk for hours, she really enjoys a slow sniffy walk as well as time in a secure area to explore.
Lumi must be allowed to sleep with her humans in her new home.
