Lola is a lovely Tri coloured beagle DOB: October 2018 looking for a new home due to a change in circumstances. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys companionship, attention, and relaxing with her people.
She has no major known health issues, although she can suffer from itchy ears at times.
About Lola
Lola is a gentle and loving dog who enjoys a calm home life. She loves attention and affection and is happiest curled up beside her owner or sitting on your knee.
- Very affectionate and people-focused
- Enjoys spending time in the garden
- Loves chasing a ball
- Enjoys watching the world go by from the window
She is housetrained and has free run of the house, usually choosing to sleep in or near the bedroom despite having her own bed.
Exercise & Lead Behaviour
Lola enjoys walks and outdoor time, although she can be strong on the lead at times. She has not had formal training classes.
- Not suitable for off-lead exercise due to unreliable recall
- Occasionally opportunistic around open doors or gardens, so secure boundaries are important
Social Behaviour
Lola is generally sociable with other dogs:
- Gets excited when meeting dogs and usually wants to play
- No aggression towards other dogs
She has not lived with cats and tends to chase cats that enter the garden, so a cat-free home would be best.
Important Considerations
Lola is very loyal to her owner and can be protective at times:
- May snap if she believes her owner is being threatened
- This behaviour is defensive rather than unprovoked aggression
She is also opportunistic around human food and may help herself to unattended snacks if left within reach.
Children
Lola does not currently live with children, so a quieter home may suit her best.
Ideal Home
Lola would thrive in:
- A calm home where she can enjoy companionship and attention
- A home with a secure garden to explore safely
- Owners who understand beagle traits and food opportunism
Final Thoughts
Lola is a loving, affectionate companion who enjoys the simple things in life—company, comfort, garden time, and plenty of fuss. In the right home, she will make a loyal and devoted addition to the family.
