Lola is a one year old tri colour mottle female, who needs a new home as her family circumstances have changed. She is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.Due to her young age, Lola is still getting used to walking confidently on a lead, so while she is well behaved during daytime walks, evening walks and sudden noises cause her to become anxious on lead, she can be reactive to traffic so will need some positive training with this’d a secured harness. She enjoys meeting other dogs, and will bark and pull the lead until she can go and meet them. She is incredibly friendly around other dogs, and plays nicely with them.Lola will need a home with another beagle that also loves to play. She has never shown aggression to another dog or person. She has never been tried off lead, so this is something a new owner could work on with her.Lola travels in a crate in the car. She’s not the biggest fan of travelling, but tolerates it because it usually means she’s going somewhere fun.At home, Lola is house and crate trained. She has spent a few hours by herself, and coped well. She is not destructive, but will pick up toys which have been left lying around and will have to be reminded to drop them, or trade them for a treat. She has never tried to escape from the garden.Lola has never lived with a cat. She is a typical exuberant youngster, so all members of her new family would have to be able to cope with her excited behaviour. For this reason, it would be better if her new home was with adults only, or a family with older children. Lola is a friendly and affectionate girl, who loves to cuddle up on the sofa at the end of the day. She enjoys interactive toys, long walks and learning new tricks to add to her repertoire. It would be great to find her a home where she can build on the excellent start she’s had.
