Joey is a six year old tri colour male, who needs a new home as his owner’s working hours and commitments mean he is no longer getting the time and attention he needs. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.Joey enjoys a walk, and is best controlled with a Halti collar, which reduces his pulling. He has no experience of being walked off lead. Joey loves to meet other dogs, and approaches them nicely. While he doesn’t travel very often, he travels nicely in his crate in the car.At home, Joey is house trained and crate trained, although he has not used a crate for a few years. He can be left for a few hours, but will become destructive if left for too long. He has access to a dog flap to let himself out into the garden, which he enjoys. He has never tried to escape from his secure garden. Joey is a cheeky character, who likes to steal items from the rubbish, and is not always keen to give them back. Joey has lived with cats before, and has experience of visiting children. He enjoys playing with toys, and while he will play tug and fetch, he’s not very good at remembering to bring the ball back. He is a clever boy who knows a lot of tricks, and is surprisingly patient when it comes to waiting for dinner. He will be a lot of fun for his new family.
