Jeremy is a two year old tri colour male, who needs a new home as his family’s circumstances have changed. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Jeremy walks nicely on a harness. He can be let off lead, as long as there are no other dogs around to distract him. He travels nicely in the car. Jeremy has never shown aggression to another human or dog. He is very sociable with other dogs, and loves to play. Sometimes his energy level means he can be overly playful and energetic, so his new owners would have to help him learn when it’s time to calm down.
At home, Jeremy is house trained and crate trained. Until recently, he was happy to be on his own for a few hours, but has now started to find separation from his family distressing, and show his upset by becoming vocal, which has made him unpopular with the neighbours. He has never been destructive, or tried to escape from his secure garden. If he steals an item, he will return it.
Jeremy has never lived with cats, but has lived with children, so he could be rehomed to a family with adults only, or a family with children who are old enough to manage living with a bouncy, dog who enjoys a bit of attention seeking. He is a happy soul, who loves to be around his people, and would need someone who is home with him for most of the day to help him manage his separation anxiety. He will be a lovely addition to any family.
