Fraser is a seven year old tri colour male, who is looking for a new home as his owner’s health has deteriorated. Fraser is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
Fraser likes to go out for a walk, and wearing his harness helps to control his pulling. Fraser has not been left off lead, as his recall is non-existent. He will happily disappear away from you, on the hunt for interesting scents. Fraser is an experienced, confident traveller who is used to getting about on both cars and trains. He has never shown aggression to another dog or person, and is keen to be everyone’s friend. He will jump up to lick new people, and submissively introduce himself to other dogs.
At home, Fraser is house trained and crate trained. He can be left alone for a few hours, but longer than this and he becomes unhappy. He is never intentionally destructive, and will always give back stolen items when asked. Fraser is quite good at escaping, and can let himself out of his crate unless it is locked shut, as well as knowing several ways to escape from a garden. He knows how to open doors and jump gates, so his new home must be a very secure one.
Fraser has never lived with a cat, so his new home should be a cat free one. He is used to living with teenage children, and because he is known to jump up at people, we would prefer any children in his new home to be older children who could deal with this boisterous greeting. He is a big personality, who is always on the lookout for a new adventure, although ideally one where he wouldn’t have to deal with puddles or water as he’s not keen on getting wet. Having said that, he also enjoys chilling out in the garden, just watching the world go by and enjoying a tummy rub from his favourite people.
