Finlay is an eight year old tri colour male, who needs a loving new home after the loss of his beloved owner. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.Finlay goes for walks with a dog walker, where he is very much a “lone wolf” who likes to focus on himself and not other dogs. He is a nervous soul, and finds other dogs quite intimidating. At home, Finlay is house trained, but not crate trained. His previous owner let him out during the night to do a wee, so his new home would have to have a dog flap, or an owner who’s happy to accommodate this. Finlay had a very close bond with his previous owner, and suffered from separation anxiety on the rare occasions when they were apart. A new owner would have to help him overcome this by slowly building up the amount of time he spent by himself and offering him lots of reassurance.Finlay is a loyal and devoted boy, who is incredibly loving once you have won his confidence. He will be a very worthwhile addition to any family.
