Darcy and Oakley are a bonded pair who have grown up together, and would like to stay together in their new home. Darcy is a five year old tri colour female, and Oakley is a two year old tri colour male. They are both vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
Darcy and Oakley are big fans of going out in the sunshine, and walk best on their harnesses. They can be let off lead on walks. They travel well in the boot of the car, safely secured with space to lie down for the duration of the journey. Neither dog has never shown aggression to another dog or person, but Darcy is wary of black dogs. Once they have worked out that their new friend is happy to see them, they are always keen to play together. They have enjoyed lots of beagle group meet ups.
At home, Darcy and Oakley are house trained and crate trained. Because both dogs are used to having each other for company, they can be left alone for a few hours. They are not destructive of household items, and will only ever chew up their own toys, usually as part of a game they’re playing together. Stolen items are always returned when requested. Darcy and Oakley have never tried to escape from their secure garden, and are happy to spend hours in the garden playing together.
Darcy and Oakley have never lived with a cat, so their new home needs to be one without cats. While they have never lived with children, they have been good with visiting grandchildren, so could be rehomed to a family with older, dog experienced children. They complement each other well, with Darcy’s calm attitude balancing out Oakley’s energetic love of playing ball and chase.
