Courtney is a 21 month old lemon and white female, who is looking for a new home where she will receive lots of reassurance and training. Her current owners have worked hard to help her overcome her sad start to life, and her new home would need to be a supportive and patient one. She is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.Courtney is lead trained, and enjoys her walks. She can be let off lead, as long as she trusts you and there are no distractions. It is a skill she is still learning, and would benefit from some extra work on this. Courtney is interested in meeting other dogs, and will pull on the lead to meet them. She has not been aggressive to other dogs, and behaves very enthusiastically around them. She is used to travelling in the car.At home, Courtney is house trained and crate trained. She can be left alone for a few hours, and while she might chew up her toys when bored, she has not been destructive to any household items. She has never tried to escape from a secure garden. She will usually return stolen items, with some encouragement.Courtney’s new home must be one without children, as she still needs training and input on how to behave socially. Ideally, she should be the only dog in a beagle experienced home, to allow her family time to focus on her and give her the attention she is so desperate for. She has made excellent progress with her current owners, and has fantastic potential in the right hands.
