Clifford –

Clifford is a handsome 18-month-old tri-colour Beagle with a fun-loving personality and lots of affection to give.

Clifford is a friendly and sociable dog who enjoys the company of both people and other dogs. He is playful when meeting dogs both on and off lead and would likely enjoy living with another friendly canine companion, although he has always been an only dog in the home.

Clifford is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and is comfortable being left during the working day. He sleeps well in his crate overnight and travels well in the car, making him a great companion for adventures and outings.

Like many young Beagles, Clifford is energetic and enthusiastic on walks. He can pull on the lead at times, although he walks much better using a figure-of-eight lead. He has attended a few training classes and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to help him mature into a well-rounded adult dog.

He can be let off lead in suitable safe areas and has not shown any escape tendencies in the garden. Clifford has no known aggression issues towards people or dogs. He can be protective around items he should not have, particularly food-related items, so sensible management around tempting objects is advised.

Clifford enjoys his food and isn’t fussy, provided it’s not fish flavour!

Clifford would suit an active home that can continue his training, provide regular exercise, enrichment, and lots of companionship. With the right guidance and consistency, he has all the makings of a fantastic family companion.
