Jasper & Casper – Looking for a Loving Home Together
Jasper and Casper are two gentle, affectionate senior beagles who are looking for a new home together.
These lovely boys have spent their lives together and are very bonded companions. They are both friendly, loving dogs who enjoy a peaceful home life, gentle walks, cuddles, and simply being close to their people. They are hoping to find a calm and caring retirement home where they can stay together and enjoy the comfort and stability they deserve.

Jasper – April 2014
- Tri-colour male beagle
- Affectionate and gentle
- Enjoys walks and companionship
- Has a lump on his upper back leg which the vet believes may be a mass and may require monitoring
Casper – April 2013
- Tri-colour male beagle
- Calm, cuddly, and very loving
- Prefers affection and relaxing over playing with toys
Both boys are:
- Housetrained
- Microchipped
- Non-destructive around the home
- Used to sleeping in their own beds overnight
- Friendly, easy-going companions
Walks & Exercise
Jasper and Casper both enjoy their walks and exploring outdoors.
- They can pull on the lead if they spot cats or something exciting
- Neither has reliable recall, so they should remain on lead unless in a secure area
- Neither are known escape artists from the garden
They are typical scent-driven beagles who enjoy sniffing and taking in the world around them.
Social Behaviour
Both boys:
- Live happily together
- Are friendly with other dogs
- May bark at larger dogs out of excitement or uncertainty
- Have shown mild food guarding around other dogs at times
They could potentially live with another calm dog, but their priority would be staying together.
Cats
Jasper and Casper cannot live with cats as they will chase them when out on walks.
Home Life
- Can be left alone for around 4 hours during the day
- Not crate trained
- Sleep happily in their own beds in the utility room
- Would benefit from a secure garden to enjoy safely
Neither dog is particularly interested in toys these days — they simply enjoy companionship, comfort, affection, and their daily walks.
