Buster

Buster

Buster is a tricolour male, born on 14th September 2020.  He is looking for a new home as his owner’s work commitments have increased and Buster is spending too much time on his own.  Buster is microchipped.

Buster goes for walks on a Halti harness, as this is the best way to control any pulling on the lead.  His owner has never tried letting him off lead on walks.  Buster is happy to travel in the car.  Buster has never shown aggression to people or other dogs, and plays enthusiastically with the other dogs he meets.  Sometimes he can play a little too enthusiastically, especially with the girls he meets, so encouraging him to stay calm during play sessions is important.

At home, Buster is house trained and crate trained, and can be left on his own for a few hours if you have to go out without him.  Buster can be destructive, so needs a beagle proof environment in his new home.  He has never tried to escape from his secure garden, but his owner thinks that he might take advantage of a garden without secure fencing, so Buster’s new home must have a very secure garden for him to play in.  Buster is a frequent thief, particularly of items from the laundry basket, although this is usually as a way to get your attention, and not because he particularly wants that item.  He will give stolen items back eventually.

Buster sees cats as something to chase, so must join a cat free home.  He has lived with children with no issues, so children with dog owning experience could be part of his new home.  Buster loves spending time in his garden, and would play out there all day if he could.  He genuinely believes he is a lap dog, and will happily sit on you as if he’s a much smaller dog!
