Berkeley is a nine year old tri colour male, who needs a new home as his owners’ working hours have changed and he will be spending too much time on his own. He is vaccinated and microchipped.Berkeley loves his walks, and while he likes to be the leader on walks, he isn’t a particularly strong puller. He has not been let off lead. When he meets other dogs, he friendly, and has never shown any aggression. He is used to travelling, but isn’t the biggest fan of it.At home, Berkeley is house trained, but not crate trained. He does not like being left on his own, and needs a new home where someone would be with him for most of the day. When he is distressed, he is destructive. He has never tried to escape from the garden, but has managed to sneak past people who have come to the front door and escaped down the street. If Berkeley does steal something, he is not keen to give it up, and this is something a new owner could work on with him.Although Bailey has not lived with children, and we would recommend that he goes to an adult only home due to needing training on stolen items, he has been fine with visiting youngsters. He could not live with a cat. He loves being around people, and cuddling up under a blanket with his family. If you can provide him with lots of long walks, cuddles and lots of company, he would be a good match.
