Baxter is a two year old tri colour male who is looking for a new home as he is no longer getting on with the resident dog. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Baxter walks nicely on a Halti lead when he’s out and about. He has not been allowed off lead. He travels well in the car, inside a car crate. He has never shown aggression to people, or to dogs he meets when he’s out for a walk. He loves meeting new dogs, and is always happy and excited to say hello.
At home, Baxter is house trained and crate trained. He can be left for a couple of hours, in his crate. While he’s not destructive, he does have a soft spot for cushions, which he’ll chew on if he can access. He will drop the cushion if he’s caught though. He is generally good at giving stolen items back, but stolen food is slightly trickier to get back from him. He has never tried to escape from his secure garden.
Baxter’s new home could be with adults, or adults with older children. Because he can be possessive over food, it would be better if he was the only pet in the house. He’s a very playful boy, who would love an active family with lots of time to take him out, play fetch, and spoil him with lots of new toys.
