Arlow & Bella – A Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever Home
Arlow (7) and Bella (4) are a devoted pair of Beagles searching for a loving new home together.
These two are happiest together and would love a home where they can continue sharing life’s adventures. They are affectionate, fun-loving Beagles who enjoy being around their people.
Both Arlow and Bella are house-trained, crate-trained and travel well in the car. They were trained off lead when younger, but their recall has become unreliable over time, so they should only be exercised off lead in a safely enclosed area.
Like many Beagles, they love following their noses and can pull on the lead. They also enjoy playing with balls, chewing bones, chasing bubbles, and having their tummies and ears rubbed. Neither is a fan of the vacuum cleaner!
Bella is an especially affectionate girl who craves attention and absolutely loves cuddles. Arlow is equally loving and enjoys being close to his people, making them both wonderful companions.
Both dogs are typical food-loving Beagles and will happily help themselves if given the opportunity. They can also become possessive over stolen items, with Arlow in particular being reluctant to give them back. Bella is generally easier to persuade to surrender anything she picks up. Consistent management and continued positive training will help with these behaviours.
They are friendly with other dogs and enjoy playing off lead. Bella can sometimes bark when meeting other dogs on lead, while Arlow is generally relaxed. Neither dog is suitable for a home with cats as they are likely to chase them.
Neither has any known health problems.
Arlow and Bella would thrive in an active home where they receive plenty of exercise, enrichment and companionship. They are affectionate, entertaining Beagles who simply need someone with the time and patience to help them settle back into a consistent routine. In return, they’ll reward their new family with endless love, cuddles, and plenty of Beagle character.
