JESSIE – WHO IS AT NAWT – HERTFORDSHIRE – If you are interested in Jessie please contact the rescue she is in. National Animal Welfare Trust. https://www.nawt.org.uk 0208 950 0177
My name is Jessie and I have just turned 10, Jessie has been with the trust on and off for a number of years and could really do with a good home to retire to forever. I need to live with adult humans who understand that I have issues with separation anxiety and guarding, but this could be due to the fact that I have been in homes that just weren’t right for me, because I need to feel loved, wanted safe and secure. I do have some medical needs and problems too: past surgery in both eyes for cherry-eye mean I am prone to conjunctivitis; a cyst removed from my bladder now leads to the odd urine infection and I have a grade2 heart murmur. As you can see, I really do need that special someone to take care of me. I travel very well and am good on a lead, housetrained (although I try so very hard, the odd little mis-hap can occur it my urine is infected) and have had some training with a crate although I can take or leave them. At my welfare centre they call me Beaglicious as I am just sooooo beagley, lovely fun and clever too with a joyful enthusiasm for life; the love you give to me will be returned by the bucket load.
