Beagle Welfare Scottish Funday

On Saturday, 1st September, Karen Purdon hosted the Beagle Welfare Scottish Funday at Inch Farm, Kincardine.
Here’s what Karen had to say.

“A great day had by all at the Beagle Welfare Scottish Fun Day.

It was lovely to see so many owners there with their BW beagles, meeting old friends & making new ones.

The Scottish weather was kind to us & we had over 90 beagles attend with their families, including 10 puppies ?

We raised £915 for Beagle Welfare & sold £525 of Beagle Welfare merchandise on the day.

our BW Volunteers Millie (Adrian), Carolyne, Jules & Gordon, our ‘beagle buddies’ Alison, Eric, Gordon, Gran P, Johanna, Mhorag, Nicol, Lewis & Sharon who all worked tirelessly on the day

our lovely show judge Mary

the Scottish Thistle Pedigree Whippet Club for allowing us to use their facilities

Gillian & Kath for running the cafe

Samantha for attending with her fantastic Dog stall

Nelson’s of Culross for attending with their ice cream waggon

Everyone who donated items for the Tombola, Home Baking & auction prizes so many to mention but includes:
HR Services Scotland
Samantha Barbour
Suzanne McGiffen

Burns Dog Food, who provided the Fun Dog Show/ Agility prizes & items for our goody bags, Nature’s Menu, Fish4Dogs, Lily’s Kitchen, Whimzees, My Itchy Dog, & The Innocent Pet who provided items for our goody bags

We’ve had some great feedback from those who attended.

Hope you all had as much fun as we did ??❤️”

A huge thank you goes out to all who helped and attended on the day, raising such a huge amount for the beagles. We hope to see you all again next year.
