Beagle Welfare cannot guarantee that any beagle seen on this website will be suitable for an individual prospective owner. All beagles are rehomed at our discretion, and we reserve the right to refuse an application to rehome a beagle without reason.
The beagles displayed here are currently in our care, in foster homes or in their own homes. They have differing needs and can only be matched to a new home once an application to adopt has been received and a home check has been completed. Please be aware that under no circumstances can we reserve a beagle.
Visits for adoption are by appointment only – Beagle Welfare cannot guarantee that any beagle seen on the website will be available at the rehoming centre.
Beagles on the rehoming list are given health and temperament assessments. This gives us an insight into their character and enables us to make a considered decision as to which home might be best. However, once a beagle has settled into a new home, his or her behaviour can sometimes alter. Beagle Welfare can only assess a beagle on the behaviour it displays while in our care. Beagle Welfare cannot accept responsibility for the temperament of a beagle once it has been rehomed.
Beagle Welfare are able to offer support and behavioural advice to owners of beagles.
Please note you have to be at least 18 years old to rehome a beagle from Beagle Welfare.
Beagle Welfare was formed in 1979 to give help and advice on beagles and to rehome those whose owners cannot keep them.
