Jellybean

Jellybean

Jellybean came to us when she was two from Beagle Welfare and joined her big Brother, Nozzie (also a Beagle). Although nervous and anxious when she arrived she soon settled down and took control of all of us until she left us last year. Jellybean was a ‘runner’ and we lost her several times once when she joined a shoot and and a pack of hunting dogs! Another time when we lost her for three hours in woods and we were frantic, only to find her waiting impatiently at the car for her tea!

Jelly was vocal about EVERYTHING. She had a big personality and lots of opinions about plastic bags, men in high vis jackets, cats (not a fan) and in fact anything that got in the way of her desire for world domination. A real character and in later life she became the support for her Brother, Nozzie who developed dementia. I didn’t realise how much she did for him until she passed and really he could not cope without her, following her quite quickly at Christmas.

We miss Jelly but are grateful for the memories and the adventures she gave us. She’s on a new adventure now with Nozzie and although we miss them both we know they are together and probably causing chaos wherever they are.

Rest in Peace Princess Jellybean
