We first met Buster beagle as a tiny pup and he came to us in 2006 he was a gorgeous feisty boy and a year later we got Bramble as a companion for Buster. Bramble had not had a great start in life bought as a brood bitch she was sold to us as she had not yielded as many pups as the owner anticipated.
Together they were a duo to manage and often clicked into beagle hound mode tracking down deer and rabbits near our home. Sadly in 2017 wee Bramble suffered a heart attack and left us aged 13 and shortly after Buster was diagnosed with heart problems which we managed well until this year when he became poorly.
Buster was a well-traveled beagle as I traveled to Italy with buster and we stayed there for 3 months he loved the beach although typical beagle, not a swimmer.
Buster had a fighting stoic spirit but the heart disease meant many sleepless nights of coughing and his back legs lost muscle due to the disease. sadly on Friday 9th July as a family, we had to make the heart-wrenching decision to let him go on his last journey across the rainbow bridge to join Bramble.
