I wanted to send an email to inform you that our rescue Honey passed away on the 11th December aged 10. Needless to say we are completely heart broken and devastated, we miss her greatly. Honey became ill very quickly and unexpectedly, passing over to rainbow bridge from sepsis.
We adopted her from Beagle Welfare 6 years ago, collecting her from Nigel in Monmouthshire after she couldn’t be kept in her home in Kent any longer.
Honey was an amazing part of our lives and slotted right in from day 1. She made a lasting impression everyone she met and gained lots of attention from people we met. The neighbours children loved her and would often call for her over the fence when she was beagling in the garden.
She was known by many names, none of which where her actual name (Bee, Honeybee, Buggle, Buglet, Beezle). Honey was the centre of our world, I often joked with colleagues that I only worked full time to give her a better life. We enjoyed many holiday, walks and days out together as a family.
She has left pawprints in our hearts and white fur in random places. I miss her greatly, especially working from home and having her company in the spare room while I work.
Thank you for bringing her into our lives Beagle Welfare.
