Lucy Ref 3556 & Charlie 3557

Charlie and Lucy are a gorgeous pair of nine-year-old Beagles who are looking for a loving new home together.

These two have spent their lives side by side and are very attached to one another, so they are looking for a home where they can continue their journey together.

Charlie is a handsome liver coloured boy, weighing around 13kg, while Lucy is a beautiful tan-and-white girl weighing around 14kg.

They are both friendly, affectionate and well-mannered Beagles who have plenty of lovely qualities to offer their new family. They are house trained, walk nicely on a collar and lead, travel well and can be let off lead in appropriate secure areas. They have both attended doggy daycare and enjoy the company of other dogs.

They have no history of aggression towards people or other dogs and are playful and friendly when meeting dogs off lead.

They enjoy all the things you would expect from Beagles — long walks, attention, cuddles, playing and, of course, plenty of sleeping! Charlie particularly enjoys playing ball and swimming, while Lucy loves chasing and being chased by other dogs.

They are generally well behaved when left for a few hours. Charlie can manage around 3–4 hours and Lucy around 3 hours. They are also accustomed to having the radio left on while they are alone.

Like all Beagles, they have a few little quirks! Charlie isn’t keen on fireworks, being held or being away from Lucy, while Lucy can be vocal around closed doors, busy places and people knocking at the front door. Neither is particularly fond of the vacuum cleaner!

What Charlie & Lucy are looking for

Charlie and Lucy are looking for a loving home together, where they can enjoy plenty of walks, companionship, attention and all the comforts of family life.

They are a lovely pair with so much love still to give, and we would love to find them a special home where they can settle in together and enjoy their retirement years.
