🐶 Meet Benny
Benny is a happy, healthy and energetic boy who loves getting out for his walks and being involved in everything that’s going on around him. He’s naturally inquisitive (as all good Beagles are!) and enjoys watching the world go by, especially keeping an eye on builders, bin men and anything interesting happening nearby.
Affectionate and people-focused, Benny loves making new friends and is always happy to receive fuss and attention from everyone he meets. At home, he enjoys cuddles, ear scratches, belly rubs and being groomed. He also has a soft spot for cheese and tuna, and he’ll be sure to let you know if you’ve got either!
Like many Beagles, Benny has a stubborn streak now and again, but he’s a bright boy who attended puppy training classes and is house trained. He walks nicely most of the time, although he can pull when he spots something exciting.
Benny does have some resource guarding so will need an experience owner who knows how to handle this correctly.
Benny currently lives happily with one of his brothers and could live with another suitable dog following successful introductions. On walks he may bark at some larger dogs, but this is generally limited to certain dogs rather than every dog he meets.
He would prefer a cat-free home, as he enjoys chasing them, and he is looking for an adult-only household as he has not lived with children.
Benny can be left for a few hours if needed, travels well on shorter car journeys and doesn’t require a crate. He isn’t destructive around the home and is happy with his own toys.
In 2021 Benny had 22 teeth removed, but this hasn’t slowed him down at all and he has no problems eating. He is otherwise a healthy boy who loves life.
If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate Beagle who will happily join you on adventures before curling up for cuddles at the end of the day, Benny could be the perfect companion.
