Muffin Ref 3442 Biscuit 3443

Biscuit and Muffin are a pair of 9-year-old tricolour beagles looking for a loving home together.

They have spent their entire lives together and are happiest side by side, like most dogs they can have their squabbles but if you know what the triggers are they are generally very happy together. so we are looking for a family willing to welcome them both.

These two are affectionate, friendly beagles who enjoy human company..

Biscuit has the classic beagle enthusiasm for life. He walks well in a harness but can still pull when excited, particularly if he spots something interesting. Muffin is equally sweet-natured and enjoys her walks too, although she can also pull on lead at times. Both become very excited when they see other dogs out and about and may bark, so their new family should be prepared to continue helping them with calm lead manners.

Around the home they are well behaved, can be left for around four hours, and are not destructive or known escape artists. Neither has shown aggression towards people. Like many beagles, they are very food motivated and can become possessive over food or toys, so sensible management around mealtimes is important. They are also known to be quick eaters!

Both dogs currently eat dry food twice a day and sleep happily together in dog beds with blankets. They travel well in the car.

With both dogs being in kennels there maybe an element of some housetraining at the beginning.

Biscuit & Muffin’s ideal home

  • ✔️ A secure garden is essential.
  • ✔️ Could live with sensible older children…
  • ✔️ Owners willing to continue positive reinforcement training, particularly around lead walking and excitement when meeting other dogs.
  • ✔️ Someone home for most of the day would be ideal, although they are comfortable being left for up to four hours.

If you’re looking for twice the love, twice the cuddles and twice the beagle antics, Biscuit and Muffin could be the perfect addition to your family. They have so much affection to give and deserve a forever home where they can enjoy their retirement years together.
