About Atlas
- Walks on a harness but pulls
- Housetrained and crate trained
- Can only be left for up to 2 hours
- Travels well
- Cannot be let off lead
- Not an escapologist
- Can be destructive at times
Atlas can be wary of new people and visitors so will need his new owner to be able to help manage this and train him to meet people well. He does bark at other dogs and pulls/barks when approaching them on lead. He has not had off-lead interactions.
His Personality
Atlas loves toys, balls, blankets and interaction with people — but will destroy toys if left to it! He enjoys treats, especially ice cubes and fruit with Greek yoghurt.
He struggles with separation anxiety and does not like being left alone, particularly if shut in another room. He may counter-surf and grab items if unsupervised.
He eats Winalot and Harringtons (12pm and 6pm) and prefers dry food mixed with wet/gravy.
Atlas would suit an experienced home committed to training and managing his barking and separation anxiety. With the right structure, enrichment and companionship, he could become a wonderful, loyal companion.
