Climbing Goatfell in aid of Beagle Welfare

On Sunday 21st May 2017 Karen Pardon, 16 beagles & their owners rose extra early to travel & board the ferry to sail to the Isle of Arran where we climbed Goatfell in aid of Beagle Welfare.

Karen said “It was tough going & the Scottish weather wasn’t on our side but a fantastic team effort mean we all got to the top.

Well done Cooper, Daisy, Alfie, Nelson, Bailey, Floyd, Lola, Ralph, Hunter, Kyle,Hunter, Charlie, Bryan, Darwin, Ellie & Beth. Our beagles ages ranged from 2 to 9 but every single one managed it with ease.

A huge thank you to each & every one of the owners for your fantastic teamwork & fundraising:
Sharon, Nicol, Paul, Marie, Clairey, Dawn, Laura, Gail, Nicky, Gordon, Kirsty, Alasdair, Steph, Sinéad, Kerryann, Rowan, David & Caroline.

Our final total raised was £3,850 inc. Gift Aid.

Thanks also to our ‘Support Crew’ Carolyne, Colin, Murphy & Rufus who sold £153.50 of Beagle Welfare merchandise & ferried many of the participants from their ferry terminal to the start point for our climb.

Friends old & new had a memorable day, all because of the love we have for our beagles & their wonderful breed”
